SIGNED BY OVERSTREET on front free endpaper. Six poems by the noted philosopher-poet, originally written for Freedom House to be presented over the radio on the "Voice of Freedom." The verses portray American thoughts during a time of war: "A Soldier I Met On a Train Said", "A Young Soldier's Wife Said". "A Negro Soldier Said", "A Writer Said." No dust jacket, likely as issued. 5-1/2 x 8-1/4". 45 pages.
